Adobe Creative Cloud is a resource which helps faculty and students across the commonwealth realize their own creativity in the classroom, in research, and in their personal work. At Adobe Day 2020, we’ll dive into new offerings that utilize some of the most exciting trends in emerging technology: Interactive design, augmented reality, on-the-go video storytelling, and more.
A creative learning environment fosters the freedom of thinking in participating students (and teachers) and stimulates the combination of different elements in new and unexpected, interesting and useful ways. [Inside Higher Ed]
Each session at Adobe Day focuses on hands-on applications for the technologies while inventing solutions to real-world problems. Participants will not only learn how software like XD, Spark, Aero, and Rush work but how they can be applied to make the classroom and assignments more dynamic and engaging.
8:00 am • Breakfast
Mingle with colleagues attending both Adobe Day 2020 and Canvas Day 2020, both of which will be running concurrently at The Penn Stater. A variety of breakfast favorites will be on hand for diners of all stripes.
9:00 am • Opening Remarks + Preview of Sessions
Spend 15 minutes learning more about the day and the first two session tracks, Adobe XD and Adobe Rush.
9:30 am • Morning Sessions
Adobe XD for Interactive Design
In this session, participants will learn about interactive design and how Adobe XD can be used to create interactive content or prototypes.

Adobe Premiere Rush for On-the-Go Video Creation
In this hands-on session, participants will discover how Adobe Premiere Rush makes video editing simple by producing their own video while also learning about the the cross-platform flexibility of the software.

Meet up again with friends and colleagues for a buffet style lunch at The Penn Stater. Attendees from Canvas Day will also be joining us for this meal.
12:45 pm • Preview of Aero + Spark
A quick review of the afternoon session topic, Adobe Aero (as well as a briefing on augmented reality) and Adobe Spark follows lunch.

Adobe Aero for Augmented Reality Explorations
In this hands-on session, participants will learn about the amazing potential of Augmented Reality and discover how Adobe Aero makes authoring this immersive content simple by building their own AR experience.

Adobe Spark for Easy Website + Portfolio Creation
Participants will be introduced to the fun and easy to use Adobe Spark in this hands on session. This multifaceted tool can be used to transform images, develop attractive web content and create basic video projects.
