Adobe Creative Cloud at Penn State

As of September 18, 2017, Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) is available to all Penn State students and faculty members at no additional cost. Through the full suite of Adobe CC products, students and faculty members have access to a host of creative tools for digital imaging, design, web, and video, as well as online services including 20GB of storage.

Penn State is committed to equipping students with the digital fluency skills needed to join the future workforce, and this partnership with Adobe will help strengthen these skills University-wide.

Through these creative tools, students can grow beyond simply understanding how to use technology tools to becoming fluent digital creators. For faculty members, the Adobe CC suite allows for innovation in the classroom and enhancements to course curriculums. Best of all, the latest updates, new features, apps, and services are available as soon as they’re released.

Installing Adobe Creative Cloud

The Adobe CC software is available to the Penn State community through an Adobe Enterprise subscription model. To begin the installation process, you need to uninstall all old Adobe products from your computer. To uninstall the Adobe software, visit the article, “Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems.

If you need further assistance removing Adobe CC, please contact the IT Service Desk using one of the contact methods listed below. If you do not have any Adobe CC products, you may skip the uninstall process and continue with a clean installation.
